Our kennel is situated on 5 acres south east of Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. We are not a large kennel. We breed for health, temperament and conformation. We have been owned by Border terriers since Jan 14th 1994. We currently have four Border terriers, Tazma, Minnie, Bristle and Tucker. Taz and Minnie are now retired from our breeding program.
We are members of the Canadian Kennel Club, Natural Rearing Breeders Association, Western Border Terrier Group, Border Terrier Canada and Red River Terrier Association. Carole is Manitoba’s representative for the CBTW (Canadian Border terrier Welfare).
Our Borders are the progeny of Canadian stock (Happytime Kennel, thank-you Sylvia) and British imports (Farmway kennel). Our borders are shown to their Canadian Championship and then retired from the show ring. At this time, for fun, we may play around in obedience, agility or just spend quality time at home with them. Our Borders are first, and foremost, our loving companions.

Can. Champion Happytime Raz A Ma Taz
Tazma
Tazma/Taz, June 8, 2002

Sire and Dam: Farmway Harrier X CH. Happytime Bell Too.
Two, Best Puppy In Group was awarded to Tazma in her first two shows. Her sire is an English import. Both her parents are pet therapy dogs. Tazma’s disposition is incredible. She’s sensitive, affectionate, friendly and lovable. She is the alpha dog in the pack as well as the fairness monitor. She makes sure everyone gets along and is most accepting of any dog that comes over for a visit or an overnight stay. She is a real sweetheart and her puppies have taken on her disposition. At 8 years old Tazma has been retired from our breeding program and enjoying her retirement at home babysitting Tanna and Minnie’s puppies.

Boldwind Kiera
Minnie
Minnie, March 22, 2005

Sire and Dam: Ch. Happytime Sam X Ch. Happytime Raz A Ma Taz.
Minnie is our first home grown bitch and was originally sold as a show/breeding bitch. Minnie hates the show ring, she’d rather be home keeping the varmints out of her play area. Even a hole in one’s jeans will peak her curiosity, she’ll stick her nose in the hole to make sure one hasn’t brought a varmint in the house. She’s playful; funny, loves cuddling and sweet natured just like her mom. She’s a great brood bitch; very loving with her puppies and when Tanna has her litters Minnie likes to help nurse them, with Tanna's blessing.

Am. Can. Ch. Boldwind Naturally
Tucker
Tucker, March 31, 2008

Sire and Dam: Farmway Harrier X Boldwind Kiera.
In Oct, 2008 at 7 months old Tucker started his show career, he was given a fright and like his mom, he wasn’t to keen of the show ring until he met Jim McGriskin, his handler. The love and trust he has in Jim has made him the showman he is today. Tucker is a multi group winner just like his Uncle Tigger. Tucker is full of energy, sensitive, can be cautious, inquisitive, sweet natured, affectionate to those he loves and the class clown. His canine family lets him get away with more prank jokes then most are allowed.

Can. CH. Ruffpups Five Star At Boldwind
Bristle
Bristle, August 8, 2010

Sire and Dam: Ch. Boldwind Star Attraction X Ch. Boldwind Solo Star.
At 8 month old Bristle became a Can. Champion. She is the granddaughter of Tigger, Tazma and Tanna. She has many of their qualities; she’s intelligent, affectionate, obedient and playful. She’s sensitive, cautious, sweet natured and loves to rough house with Tucker and Tazma. At the moment she is the baby of the family, but don’t tell her that, she thinks she’s rules the roost, her canine family let her away with everything and chuckle at her when she’s not looking. She’s our next brood bitch and we look forward to the litters she’ll be producing for us.

Puppies are raised in our home and underfoot. They are weaned and raised onto fresh raw natural foods. Our puppies go too pre-approved and carefully selected homes. Once approved a small deposit is required. Before our puppies leave our home they are vet checked as well as checked by a Certified Pet Chiropractor.

Our Borders have been naturally reared since Dec 2000. Our choice of medicine is homeopathy, all natural comes first in our kennel, than, conventional medicine if need be.
